Somyn Plus users already had the ability to build custom spreads in the Tarot Analytics feature. Now they can name their spread save them for future use, if needed.

Food logs now allow users to separate their food entries so that it's not just one big narrative and can easily be referenced by trend analysis tools. In addition, users can choose from previously added foods for quick reference.

The saved custom spreads is a nice touch, small thing but it removes the friction of rebuilding the same view every time. Splitting food logs out of one big narrative so trend tools can reference entries individually makes sense too, that's the kind of structural change that pays off later even if it doesn't look flashy right now.

Ashley, I visited the www.somynjournal.app/home but to be honest it was hard to figure out what it is.

It says "Somyn helps you reconnect — not by counting, but by listening. A gentle space to tune into nourishment, movement, and emotional signals so you can show up grounded and whole."

By "space" do you mean a community or is it a virtual meet up? What is it? 🤔

I started scrolling the page but still could not figure what it is. The "AI guide built into Somyn" - sounds like it is a web app. But what does it do? 🤔

Reading this "space to notice what you are feeling and recognize the patterns beneath it" tells me it is possible about meditation or something of this kind...

Possible I am too technical and not your target audience but you've got me curious.

Thank you for your question. It is more of a web app that fits into the mental health and mindful journaling space, but pays more attention to the patterns in our emotional cues around eating, movement, relationships, etc, that build the connection between mind and body, enhancing our relationships with ourselves. If it helps, here is the Comparison Article that was just published yesterday comparing Somyn to its closest competitor, Rosebud: https://blog.saashive.com/post/somyn-vs-rosebud-body-based-vs-mind-based-ai-journaling

I see... Yes, I was reading through the www.somynjournal.app/home page trying to understand what Somyn is and my mind was probably looking for phrases like "Somyn is a mobile app that helps to... " or "Somyn is a web app that ... " or "Somyn is an online community that ...". Most likely this is just because my mind is very technical 😅. But now that I visited the website one more time, I noticed the clue right in the website URL itself :) "journal.app". Then on the create account page it says "Somyn Journal". And today after reading the comparison article I was able to put it all together that "Somyn is an AI journaling web app for people who want to improve their well-being so they can better understand the patterns behind how they feel by reflecting on their body experiences with AI."
