I couldn't focus, so I built an app that locks my phone for 24 hours — feedback wanted
I'm Geda, 22, self-taught developer from Harar, Ethiopia. No CS degree, no team, no laptop — I built this entire app on a 6-inch phone.
NONOX is a focus app for people who can't focus with the "gentle" apps. It doesn't nudge you — it locks you out. 24-hour app locks, full phone lockdown, and discipline tracking that actually holds you accountable.
I built it because I needed it. I tried the popular focus apps and kept overriding them in 5 seconds. So I made one that doesn't let me.
What I'd love feedback on: when you land on my page, is it obvious in the first 5 seconds what NONOX does and why it's different? That's the thing I'm least sure I nailed.

To your question, when I first read "24-hour app locks" in your post I thought that's brutal:). But when I checked the landing page and saw it's UP TO 24 hours, it made a lot more sense. That distinction matters. In the community post and anywhere you describe NONOX, I'd lead with "up to 24 hours" so people don't bounce before checking the page.
