Hi, I’m Sami — building LinguaPilot AI for multilingual writers
Hi everyone, I’m Sami. I’m an electronics engineer with a PhD in artificial intelligence, and I’m currently building LinguaPilot AI, a Windows writing coach for multilingual professionals and people who often write in a language that isn’t their first.
I started working on it because I wanted an AI tool that helps people improve what they have written themselves, rather than simply generating the text for them. LinguaPilot works directly from any Windows application, provides corrected and improved versions, and explains the changes in the language the user understands best.
The product has evolved a lot through user feedback, which helped me see the difference between my initial vision and what users actually need. That is also why I joined this community: to keep learning from real experiences rather than building based only on my own assumptions.
I’d especially appreciate feedback on whether LinguaPilot’s value is immediately clear and which audience you think would benefit from it most.

So far, the strongest feedback has not come from one specific audience, but from individual users with very concrete workflow needs. Some asked for better popup and multi-monitor behavior, support for UK English, or customizable shortcuts. I’ve also received useful feedback from developers about the interface, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
Those practical requests have shaped the product a lot and helped me understand that users care not only about the quality of the writing assistance, but also about how naturally it fits into their daily work.
Your point about academics, researchers, and professionals in international companies makes a lot of sense. I’d be interested in hearing more from users in those fields.
"Explains the changes in the language the user understands best" is the detail that stands out to me — that's the same principle I leaned on building FounderFlow. An AI suggestion nobody understands the reasoning behind doesn't get trusted, whether it's a grammar correction or a flag that a deal is at risk. I'd guess your clearest audience is people who are already fluent enough to write confidently but want a second set of eyes before hitting send on something that matters (client emails, reports) rather than total beginners. Does that match what you're seeing in your early users?

The core philosophy behind LinguaPilot is exactly that: keeping the human in the driver's seat. Instead of having an AI passively generate text for you, LinguaPilot acts as an active co-pilot. You do the writing, and the AI is there to correct, improve, and—most importantly—explain the why.
I strongly believe this active engagement is crucial. It keeps your brain active and helps you maintain your unique voice and originality, rather than letting your writing skills atrophy behind a "generate" button.
Personally, using my own tool has drastically improved my foreign language skills. It forces me to make the effort to write, knowing I have a reliable safety net to explain my mistakes and help me learn.
So to answer your question: yes, absolutely. Our early users aren't looking for a magic shortcut. They are writers, professionals, and creators who want to keep their authenticity but need that confident second set of eyes before hitting send.
