What's the one dropped ball that finally made you consider hiring ops help you weren't ready for?

I hear a version of the same story from founders running service businesses on their own: everything is fine until one specific thing gets dropped, a follow-up, an invoice, a client message, and that is the moment hiring finally goes from someday to maybe now. I am curious what that moment looked like for people here. Was there a specific dropped ball that made you seriously consider bringing someone on, even if you were not ready for it yet? I am building FounderFlow, an AI Executive Chief of Staff, for founders in exactly that gap, not ready to hire but tired of being the only one holding everything in their head. We are onboarding the first 30 founding members personally right now instead of running a public launch. What was yours?

I think most of us here on SaaS Hive are solo bootstrapped founders who aren't in a position to hire anyone. The dropped balls happen regularly when you're juggling everything yourself. But I also think that's exactly the gap FounderFlow fills. It's not for founders who can afford to hire help. It's for founders who can't afford it but desperately need something before the dropped balls start costing them real money or real customers.

Olga, you said it better than I did in my own post. This is not built for founders who already have budget to hire their way out of the problem. It is for the founder who is still solo, still doing everything themselves, and just needs the dropped balls caught before one of them turns into a lost customer. I am curious what the dropped ball actually looked like for you before you built your own agents, was it one specific moment, or more a slow realization that things were slipping?
